Okay, so once you are unthrottled, at what point will you fall foul of MWeb's new AUP again?

I did and have done a port reset and dropped my line speed. this is unacceptable

You won't know.
You'll just be walking down the road and an Mweb guy (not Mweb Guy) will jump out of the bush with a baseball bat and beat you silly.
 
Yesterday I was unthrottled, I downloaded as I usually do, today like magic I am throttled again.
The day before I was in contact with someone from the "moving" department... suddenly went silent and still waiting for a reply.

But did you use your Internet connection in the "normal" way?

No, don't ask me, ask the guy.

I checked with them and they have emailed you asking what you'd like to do with the ADSL line but received no reply from you.

They will email you again.
 
So I called MWEB Business and they told me they have issues and they are working on it. So glad that i know what the issue is without having to phone Telkom etc etc. I called them earlier but I called them again and now they know there is something wrong.

Ok either emails are going missing or being caught by a spam filter.... will start over again with a new more concise email :(

Bleh soon going to ditch mweb if this continues

being throttled to 256K on my 2mb premium account for downloading 140gigs so far this month

Support just says sorry we can't help you the system hasn't stated how long the throttle will last. This is getting ridiculous.

Since an average of 7gigs a day i don't see as i'm abusing there bandwidth and i have never recieved any communication from them stating that i'm going to be throttled.
