MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

Yup, account not found, lol. It's a steam issue not mweb. Will log a ticket with them.

My mweb account has been sublime of late.
 
I am checking the Telkom ADSL speed check on my folk's line and it says that currently the line is on 2mbps but the router is syncing at 1mbps.

Who do I ask to fix this and have the router sync at 2mbps? I tried using a prepaid Afrihost account and it stays the same. They are on Mweb Premium uncapped.

Evening, the ADSL checker doesn't show what the line is syncing at.

Inbox me the account details and I will confirm the line speed
 
Thanks. I called technical support and they explained the line has not yet been upgraded despite what the website says. Will check again once Telkom finishes the line upgrades. Will their 1mbps account be upgraded to 2mbps automatically?

Unfortunately not, the 2MB standard account is at the same price point though. They can therefore request the move to the 2MB standard product

Lighting, wind, rain, earthquake. My connection has been stable. Thought I'd come rub that in everyone's face. But jokes aside, it has been solid only question is when will we see the 2mb to 4mb "free" account speed upgrade, my Telkom line has been bumped up a notch, MWEB Guy did say mid-Dec but I was hoping Xmas would come early this year *wink*.

for your 6mb uncapped offering. If I limit my downloading between 23h00 and 06h00 would that count in my favour opposed to if I downloaded during the day??

MWEB Guy, can you get someone to acknowledge the receipt of my cancellation letter? I sent it on Saturday and apart from the automated response I got nothing else.

Are you referring to the 6Mb Standard Package or Premium Package? Bear in mind, the Premium package is the superior package as the threshold limit is higher.

The figures I will provide is an approximate that was provided to us. Also, bear in mind, speed limiting is based on a 30 day rolling window period.

1Mbps Premium - 100GB
2Mbps Premium - 200GB
2Mbps Standard - 70GB

Im not financially in the market for the premium unfortunately. Im specifically referring to the normal package

As per our T&C's, we require a calendar months notice period when cancelling a service.
