MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

I've only picked up the problem with three of my devices.

One Laptop (Full Signal)
Samsung S3Mini
Samsung S4Mini (Both Full Signal)

Then my Note 3 doesn't loose connection at all.

Are the devices still loosing connectivity?

Are they all a similar distance from the router?

It didn't happen for a while now. It was still fine yesterday. Only happened a few times. Today it was bad, but now it seems to be fine.

All devices are within 5 - 10 meters from the router. Almost the exact distance as the Extender. Could it be that it switches between the Router and Extender?

NOt sure exactly whats causing it.

Let me know if it flairs up again.
 
Is it downloading only that counts towards the threshhold or uploading as well. Think I read in this thread somewhere before that its only download. If thats the case, is the "Your total usage for the past 30 days:" correct?

Only downloaded data is taking into consideration, not the upload data.
 
Was there anything strange done today on the network, e.g. some firmware pushed or something. Approx at 15:15 my router restarted and I cannot surf, plus, very strange, no open FON ssid showing at all. I reset back to factory settings, no luck. MWeb Guy?..

Nothing has been done on our network today that would have caused this.

I have looked into your account and I see that your router is trying to connect but it is with the incorrect password.

I suggest you manually set it up and test.

Funny. I used my MWEB control panel password, and it took it! So, does it mean that you want us to use absolutely the same password for the control panel and the dsl? :)

Still no FON showing tough.

Just checked, in the web control panel it says FON is enabled, but nobody would be able to connect since no ssid is broadcasted.

Thanks, MWEB Guy. Not sure who has done what, or it sorted itself out, but FON is showing now after a two hour break.

I successfully terminated my services with Mweb in Dec/Jan but I am still being charged for an email address I do not use, even after clearly marking on my cancellation form, "E-mail addresses / packages to be cancelled?" I put my account and email address, "I would like to keep the following products/ packages with MWEB" I put NONE in big letters. How can we resolve this?

I see this has been addressed on 7 January.

I'll have our team cancel with immediate affect and whatever money is owed will be credited.

Boy oh boy - Am I glad I dont have to have this discussion with my ISP....

Then again - s'pose you are able to browse during office hours - so 1/2 dozen of one and 6 of the other ......
 
So whats wrong with mweb? Not only do things seem slow, but I also just mainly play LoL. I use to get a constant 304 - 311 Ping, but lately it constantly spikes to 400-500 and it is annoying to play (Gaming forums are dead so Im not gonna go post there)

All I want to do is play LoL without problems and get that constant speed like I used too. Is that too much to ask :(

I have refreshed your account, please allow for 30min to pass then reboot.
 
The one time I want to stream a live YouTube event, 4meg premium account cannot stream 360p without issues. Thanks Mweb
