Yeah dead in the water here too, only on MWEB. I've switched to another account to post this.

Yep. Massive latency and packet loss issues for MWEB - I'm also experiencing problems around hop 3 of a trace route.

I just jumped onto my Afrihost backup account and all is fine. Had some issues last weekend and the weekend before as well.
 
Back with MWEB and sofar everything looks great. Keep in mind that anything will look great after being with TI.
 
Hi Mweb guy

I want to ask why I often experience temporary web shut (8080 port close) during the day? My torrents / instant message applications are fine. What is the cause for that, can you explain?

(This problem has happened since the last mweb international connection problem.)

EDIT: for example this morning no port for 8080 since 0900 but back at 1030.

Good MOrning Dreamking, not sure what is causing this for you.

Can you keep me informed as to what is happening on your side.

Uhm I know this is non of my business but MWeb guy can yyou read. lol.. He's telling you sometimes port 8080 is closed and sometimes it's open. :confused:

He also said that its working now.

He is to let me know when the problem re-occurs.

the problem is I don't know when and how it will happen.
what I know that it is just happening.

I tested for different routers, locations (different adsl lines), machines (phone, desktop) and OSs (ubuntu, win8, winxp). I don't think / can't find this is program related. that is only what I know. can you tell me anything that may happen from your side?

I won't be able to see this from my side, however I can escalate the problem when it occurs again.

Provide as much data as possible though, screen shots and so forth
 
Can't believe I'm considering coming back here but here goes... MWeb guy can you please confirm the following for a 4 MB premium uncapped:
1- is streaming service like hulu and Netflix via unotelly shaped?
2 - is gaming unshaped 24/7?
3 - approx 400 gb in a rolling period before throttling
4 - do you do test accounts?
5 - are there specific shaped and unshaped times?

Good Morning, why not do the Try before you buy and test your experience with hulu, Netflix and gaming.

Shaping is still determined by the demand for high priority traffic.

The threshold on the 4MB premium package is approximately 400GB.

Was there a problem last night with mweb? Around midnight my router stayed synced but my adsl light went red. Came back after 20 minutes and the happened again an hour later. Seems fine this morning though

Morning MJ INC, there were no reported outages yesterday evening.
