Evening Grimster101, we have no reported issues on our network at the moment.

Please provide me your MWEB account details via private message

Up and down more times than a hookers nickers.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>ping google.co.za
Ping request could not find host google.co.za. Please check the name and try again.

Adsl is up but nobody is home.

And here we go with the slowness again ....... local and international taking ages to load, ping at about triple what it should be, etc etc.

Evening, we have no reported outages on our network at the moment.

The Telkom reported outages is lengthy though, please let me now if you are affected by any:

Mweb guy,

No offense, but clearly there is a problem! and has been for weeks now...

People complain about poor latency, packet loss and slow speeds randomly from all over the country....

It does not seem to be a constant problem, but rather an intermittent problem...

I am sure you guys can see the latency spike on your end, across your network and then return to normal for brief periods throughout the day?

And please get your so called 'techies' to stop calling me!
Each and everyone I speak to has absolutely no freaking clue what I am saying.
I explain myself and and get silence, most don't even understand how the static IP accounts works...
I had to explain that a VPN tunnel is used to give me static IP's and I have no access to the PPPoE connection to make changes...
Really poor show for Mweb, really poor!

ADSL is UP - how could this be Telkom related ?

Outages at the exchange can cause slow connectivity.

The outage is not always connection related, it could affect the users connecting to that exchange differently.

Thank you,

But just to give you an idea, I used the same phone line for both pings.

Ye it's the mweb account only Mweb Guy, any other account works with no hassles. So it can't be exchange related.

ROFLMAO ..... :D:D:D
That would be the same ''team'' that was going to get back to me .... And that was EARLY LAST YEAR.

Translated, this means '' shut up and get over yourself, Mr. H couldn't be bothered with your issues''.....

The last time MWEB had an issue it fired its ''abusers'' and sent the left over client base FONNY routers .....
