Your account is reflecting 3 separate router connections at the moment.
Ye it's the mweb account only Mweb Guy, any other account works with no hassles. So it can't be exchange related.
Hello,
I have the FON router installed and I am not using the range extender at the moment.
I use Synergy on a daily basis between my laptop and computer. The PC is connected via a LAN cable to the modem, and the laptop is connected wireless. Synergy enables you to use a host computer's mouse and keyboard on another client computer over a LAN.
I am having a lot of issues where the software keeps on loosing data between the pc and the laptop, e.g. I move the mouse, but it is not moving on the laptop, and then suddenly starts to move again after about half to one seconds.
Long story short, the laptop is loosing messages sent to it through the FON router's Wifi. I did not have this big issue with my other Telkom free router. This also happened with the other router, but probably once every 3 days, with the FON router, this happens at least every 5 minutes.
I also notice that my phone sometimes struggle to connect to the wireless network as soon as I come home. I never had this problem with my old modem.
so, is there something we can do with the FON router to get the wireless network to work better, or can I just put the FON router back in its Box and use the old router? The router is in the middle of my apartment, and the laptop is 2 meters away from the modem with a small wall in the way. I know that the FON router is not the best quality router out there, but at the moment it is doing a bit worse then the other cheap router I had...
Hi
Have you made any changes to the router settings?
Perhaps changes the SSID or wireless password?
Also, could you please PM me your account info.
Hello, I have not made any changes to the settings on the modem.

Hi MWEB Guy,
I need some insight please.
Been having some "****ty internet connection" issues the past couple of weeks. The connection works, but sometimes pages only load half-way and need to be refreshed, online gaming is impossible etc. (my line sync to telkom is solid though)
My irritation has finally overcome my laziness so I did a quick pathping and found that there appears to be a substantial amount of packet loss occurring within the MWEB network:
C:\Users\N>pathping www.google.co.za
Tracing route to www.google.co.za [197.84.128.59] over a maximum of 30 hops:

Could this be at the root of my issues? Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?
Thanks

HI all
could anyone tell me if i should get the Mweb 6meg normal uncapped package i use max about 350GB per month most of the time its in the 200s. I stream alot music mostly but YouTube and Netflix too, and obviously torrents. Apparently you get throttled on these accounts i don't mind that but as long as i don't get throttled on 50GB. and browsing streaming needs to be unshaped all the time i don't mind i if i need to download torrents at night. Any advice would be greatly appreciated![]()
I would rather pay R80 more for 4mbps premium which only gets throttled at 400GB.
Its pretty much what im paying now on afrihost business 770 p/m is pricy but thanks for the help![]()

How long am I going to be throttled on my 4mbps account?
Hi, it all depends on how far over the threshold you have gone.
Send me a PM with your MWEB details and I will be able to confirm
How long am I going to be throttled on my 4mbps account?
