MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

I would of like to enable monitoring from our side to see how the traffic graphs, it may have given us a bit more information.

Wish we could have found the route cause and resolved this for you though

you can still enable monitoring if needed, perhaps this will help the other people having the problems. I'll still be with Mweb for the rest of the month. So let me know what you need

Our gaming team are still trying to replicate the gaming issues on our side, however we are trying to route our traffic via Johannesburg.

We notice that most of the complaints are coming from the Durban and JHB areas.
 
My internet for the last 2 days has been getting 1 meg less speed than what I usually get.
I get around 8.8 megs normally on the telkom speedtest site but have been getting 7.6 for the last 2 days and it never goes higher, this impacts everything, from downloading to streaming.
I checked my telkom line connection and it all seems fine.


*EDIT*
Oh and that diablo 3 lag seems to be hitting me as well, its been around for a while. If I change to a capped ISP the lag goes away.

Hi @Mwebguy is there a way to manually reset passwords on extra email accounts linked to your main Mweb account. Can't seem to find the option under account management.
 
Also having intermittent news server issues ...... just sits for hours not connecting.

Morning, you would have to register each email address for the OTP process.

In the interim, you can follow the password process by submitting the password form. Send me your preferred email address via private message and I will send you the form.
 
Morning gents, please advise if you tried connecting with the news server IP instead of news.mweb.com
news.mweb.co.za

News.mweb.com, as you put it, is invalid. News.mweb.co.za refuses the connection.
 
Am I being shaped?

Hi

I am on 4 Mb/s Uncapped Premium ADSL. Ports 80, 443, etc are running smoothly, but
others (25565 specifically) are almost completely blocked (I only get about 2KB/s down and 1KB/s up). It is like this with both local and international connections.

Is there a way for me to get around this, or do I have to make peace with it?

Anyone else having unstable line speeds? Im downloading songs from iTunes and it starts fast then slows down to a halt then speeds up again...been like this the whole time.
 
Anyone else having problems playing Diablo 3? For the last 2 days I could not play, my ping is 0 and then I get kicked, or I just cant join a game. The game does work if I use my phone or another internet source...
 
my mweb 2 meg account is running terribly. youtube, http downloads, torrent.

switched to an afrihost free 1 gig account, and now my downloads are fine...

So anything been picked up? I've sent my details in a private message to you last week. I believe plenty of people are still having issues.

Funny how every person who I've spoken too that's on Mweb are having issues with Diablo 3, soon as they get the 1Gb Free Afrihost account their problems are sorted.
