I'm getting real tired of constantly being throttled on a product that's supposed to be uncapped. Can anyone recommend an ISP that doesn't throttle as senselessly as Mweb seems to have chosen to do lately?

Thanks. Seems like I'll move to webafrica, I'm situated in the Cape Town area..![]()
If this doesn't suit you, move to Afrihost if in the North/East, or WebAfrica if in the South.

That's the beauty of it. I don't even do heavy downloads... A few YouTube vids a few twitch streams and suddenly the threshold is met.Cool, heavy downloading will need to be scheduled between 00h00 and 06h00.

Getting terribly erratic ping times to the Planerside 2 servers in Amsterdam this morning. be-4-778-thd-p-2.mweb.co.za seems to be the router where my pings are spiking at, and getting erratic packet loss at tengig-0-0-0-2-11-cpt-p-1.mweb.co.za
We are offline for one week already! We called the problem in but nothing so far! Not even a feedback. As a premium adsl customer I am very disappointed with your service. I work from home so I rely on a working internet connection. I expect you to solve the problem asap and send me a revised invoice because I won't pay for a service I can't use.

I have been having a weird problem lately. After upgrading my account to 4Mb uncapped premium a few days ago (from 2Mb premium) I am experiencing random stuttering/loading in Netflix, which has never happened before.
It's definitely not the line (which has been a 4Mb line since Telkom migrated everyone up one level), and when the stuttering isn't happening the quality of the video is noticeably better. It can't be throttling since it started pretty much as soon as I got home and reset my router after the upgrade.
I am worried my download speed is in some weird limbo where it is just not fast enough to stream HD but it is trying anyway. Has anyone else had this issue?
Also - this is Netflix via PS4.
Hey, is MWEB Premium Uncapped 2Mbps good? As long as I don't download more than 200gb in a 30-day rolling window, then I should be OK, correct?
I just don't understand why my threshold is lower than 70G I am still "throttled" by mweb.
may be mweb really wants me to leave.....
Hi
I checked your account and your usage for the last 30day is still above the threshold.
Once this drops to below the threshold, the speeds should return to normal.
how you calculate the threshold? from 14 Jun to 13 Jul that is below the threshold.
