MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback - Part 3

I understand that you would like to obtain full line speeds.

The services or traffic you would like obtain lines speeds on, are not priority traffic.

These services are shaped.

If you download overnight and do not speed watch, I'm sure you would still be moving more than decent amounts of data.

Sigh. So basically you're throttling http.. Ok. Also I must add, I only started speed watching because I am unable to watch a steam broadcast without the stream constantly freezing every few seconds for at least 5 seconds.. And that is on the lowest quality setting (360p) And why I specifically posted here was because it was not always happening. As stated, roughly 2 weeks ago it worked perfectly fine. But if this was pure luck that I was getting good speeds then oh well I guess..

Very disappointing though I must say. Considering the broadcasts are part of steam and gaming related. And not to mention how YouTube works really well generally. So I find it rather saddening that I cannot watch a stream unless I wish to sit through freezes constantly =\

I really hope Fiber comes here soon...

Sigh, trying to connect to my game server in US for half an hour now. It's before 17:00, so futile exercise I guess. Same problem we had a few months back.
 
According to the MWEB rep on Twitter MWEB shapes downloading from Apple's server. What BS is this. MWEB is clearly shaping http://appldnld.apple.com in the daytime, what next MWEB?

BAM 17:01 and I could connect. MUST be something on MWEB side. My friends all over the world have been playing without issues. (same old problem as last)

I have indeed. And I've tried all the usual tricks in the book, keeping the router off for a while. (Even tried an hour), asked ports to be reset over the phone etc. I assume with the reauth I need to switch the router off for 5 mins?
 
Just want to confirm that after my router being off for 30 minutes since the Reauth, things are a bit better. Not 2 weeks ago better. But at least Im able to now watch streams without issue on Steam Broadcast. So I can only hope things will get better from here. Downloadwise on http downloads, things are ever so slightly better. But still kinda poor. However will check how the speeds are after 12 am tonight.

Crxboy, cancellations are submitted via our My Account page online. Once you've logged in using your MWEB primary username and password, browse to 'My Products' and you should be able to cancel it from there.

What led you to wanting to cancel if you don't mind me asking?
 
Sorry guys I am dead serious that there are no cancellation options anywhere on the dashboard under my account. Maybe my account is weird. Thanks for the suggestions tough. I will go the telephonic route.

MWEB Guy;

Cancelling as the traffic management with MWEB is not in line with my needs.

My 10MB line gets 1MB speeds 99% of the with Usenet. I understand if this happens during office hours but last night at 21:00 my Usenet traffic was peaking at 1MB and it was very erratic. I expect full line speed for Usenet traffic after hours.

I switched to 2 different accounts (VOX and AH) and was pulling data at OVER 10MB consistently on my line.
 
Jeez MWEB been listening to your telephonic recording for over 15 minutes for technical support. Is anyone there? According to your accounts department I MUST cancel using my dashboard but my dashboard DOES NOT have that option anywhere. Dog chasing his own tail here. Please help.
