Hi Saskue

Every customers account has different readings. With some accounts we find after troubleshooting, there are a few things running in the background and when stopped speeds are fine.

Your line sync: 10240 kbps and check account from January shows no speed limiting. Usage has also been good.

Please provide me with all your tests done and I'll look into it for you.

Something a miss on Optinet at Teraco Durban.

This happened last week as well,

I can't access mweb.co.za & myaccount.mweb.co.za from Afrihost.

This is only affecting DBN customers, JHB and CPT can both access mweb sites.

Afrihost is handing the traffic to optinet but once it reaches optinet it stops.

Good Morning, I have tested on our test bench as well and we cannot replicate your experience.

Are you testing using an MWEB connection?

FUP changed and looking good :D

Expected to be throttled today, as I had a few heavy on youtube visitors over this past month. Saw that I was over the normal throttle limit but still unthrottled. Good to know about this, was considering getting the 6Meg package on my 4 Meg line just for the extra data should someone stay over, now I don't need too.

For weeks now i have been getting slow speeds on youtube and google searches sometimes just don't load or take ages to load. This happens between 8 and 11pm almost every night and its only when i use chrome. When i switch to firefox everything loads fine. Anyone else experiencing this?

Another minor issue iv noticed is youtube never actually runs full line speed even after 12am. For example im on the 10mb premium uncapped package and it will only ever peak at about 7500kbps however if i switch to an account with another ISP it goes at >8000kbps.

Yep I get the exact same issue. Im on a 4mb uncapped mweb premium account.

All google services are affected, when using Chrome. (google search/ youtube etc etc etc)
The only workaround is to use firefox (which I hate)
Apparently Chrome uses its own weird protocol for communicationss, and it is somehow blocked/shaped by mweb. That was all i could find when doing some searches. Eventually just gave up and went with firefox. This has affected me for months already, not just weeks.

EDIT: Just to add, this is not a computer issue. All computers on my home network are affected by this issue. I have 1pc, 1 media pc and multiple laptops. ALL of them have the same issue with Chrome.

Where can we see all these products? On the site I can get to the standard packages.
If I go through Google I can somehow get to the Premium packages, but so far I haven't been able to see the Standard Plus packages.

Trying to see the prices for them.

I am currently on the 4mb Premium uncapped and I'm thinking of moving to the 10mb Standard Plus, depending on what it costs.
