From my side, my international was fine, now its dead...

Good Afternoon TmanSA, please provide me speed test results to international servers and pings and tracers.

Touch wood, the latency is sitting at a good 280 and there is zero packet loss anymore :)

Thanks Mephisto, it should be fixed; as per the feedback I've received. Please let me know if the problem re-occurs.

Unless u can get telkom to come and fix the k@k they made on my line( 9 phone calls and 2 weeks later and they still have not fixed) there would be not much else thanks

LOL.. wishful thinking... ;)

dude I tell u I am giving up, after they "fixed" the line it is 3 time worse than it was.... they are useless..

My latency is a bit off but atleast the lag has stopped.
International downloads are a bit better now at around 60kb/s (I usually get 100kb/s).

Morning Mwebguy.

Im getting about 50-80% packet loss to the 176.67.177.148 ip in ping plotter. Result is a pretty poor internet exprence, with a lot of refreshes requred to get a pag to open. Are you aware of the issue?

Thanks

Hi All,

Please note some customers may be experiencing slow international speeds and high latency, our engineers have identified the problem in our London data centre and are working toward resolving it.

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy

Hi mrudling,

Please leave your router off for sometime to allow a new IP address to be assigned. If you are still experiencing issues, it will be related to the above post.

DDO packet loss issue from the other day is back .......

This is starting to aggro me a bit more than normal now. Every few days there's a new issue and that is simply not good enough.

Been with MWEB ( 4MB Uncapped) for about a month now, but I am yet able to connect to the MWEB News server. Is there anything special one needs to do to connect to the news.mweb.co.za server? Like SSL or specific Authorization access?

HI Hunter

There are no special settings required to connect to the news server.
I have tested it now using alt.binz and the standard settings, I can connect and download without any trouble.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have tried with different devices (PCs), but with no luck. Had no issues whilst with other ISPs. I can access supernews just fine with allt.binz, but not Mweb, which I find strange.

Something somewhere must be causing an issue then.

That is weird, all the tests I have run to our news server show that it is working correctly.
I am not able to replicate your problem.
