I was on the mweb/dstv 3 month free contract and now that the free months are over, I get billed R607 for my first payment to mweb

What is happening here? Surely it would just be R299 as I'm on the 1mb uncapped option?

Thank you ..... it came right at about 6am and it's just gone to pot again, so it's every few hours now.



Most times I get that when ingame it's crap so it has to be the link to the servers or else all my net would be borked.

@Mweb guy - I have a client who's trying to SMTP authenticate to a server, but he cannot.

When he changes over to Telkom/SAIX, he can authenticate successfully.

But, back on an Mweb uncapped line, he cannot authenticate.

Somehow SMTP authentication is not working fine?

Nothing else was changed on the PC - only the switchover from Mweb to Telkom. (ADSL account).

Browsing seems extremely slow at the moment. Are there any known issues at the moment? Pages take forever to load. Was fine last night.

Just an update -

Logged in again now: Mweb still 340+ ping ..... Afrihost and Imaginet at 290 and 285 respectively.
