MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback

NNTP running at 53kb on my 1meg line, NZB Matrix had problems lately, currently changing their servers - should be better in days to come.
 
NNTP still crawling, like an ant making his way across South Africa. I shall ask him to ferry my data for me, as it will surely be faster :)
 
I cant seem to play my international games like LOL coz the ping is soooo bad. Its normally like 200 but at the moment its at 300 which I cant really use.
Is it not possible in future for MWEB to send us email notification about line problems
 
Well I must say international browsing is much better and faster so far... not to bad at all...

this starting to become very frustrating tbh. still slow over here and latency is just disgusting.

Glad I'm not the only LOL player having issues. Crazy lag spikes for the past two days make it unplayable :( Let's hope the SAT-3 cable is fixed soon...
 
So I've been thinking my usenet access was being shaped since Sunday, but then I found this thread. Speeds currently suck at 10-50K/sec on a 4MBit line.

The weird thing is, just after midnight it rockets up to full line speed (470K/sec using 4Mbit account on 10Mbit line). By morning it's rubbish again. So is mweb finally applying shaping to usenet access or will we blame seacom et al for the daytime nonsense?

What makes it even worse is that I need to run VPN to the office and use RDP for getting work done and last night I had to just give up. Today... my day sux playing catchup.
 
I also notice the exact same behaviour. It does not make sense. My only explanation would be that they shape all traffic in business hours to cope with extra demand while service not fully functional.

My download and surfing connection is amazing but because of the recent problems I cant game at all. And youtube always stops like 20 seconds into a video.
