Everything else is good, browsing, youtube etc. Just NNTP.

I really don't have a problem with shaping as I'm always achieving full speed midnight and always reaching my download quota for the month. So really not a problem just pointing out some inconsistencies as of late. :)

Please see the inbox message I have sent you.

Evening copacetic, I've noticed that you have disconnected your account/router on numerous occassions; however you are still connecting with the same IP. Would you like me to delete your current session to force a connection with a new IP?

Yes, I'm still trying to figure out wtf is causing it to DC all the time, it's actually driving me nuts.

Feel free to do what you suggest, sure.

My overall speeds are really, really bad. Getting http downloads speeds of less than 1k earlier on. Web pages are super slow to load and forget about youtube or anything else content heavy. Hopefully, this is a temporary glitch.

Same here. 20 kB/s on a torrent right now. It used to be around 40 kB/s before.

Good evening Kitty09, 20kB/s on a torrent is not bad for a 384 shaped account.

Is your connection disconnecting by itself?

getting less than 50kb downloading from fileserve.com for the past week. Mweb guy, what do you need from me to invesitgate?

Yep, all the bloody time, but I think it's a wiring issue here.

I'm just running out of ideas as to how to make it work.

Had Telkom take a look, they say everything is fine from their side, and I've disconnected all extraneous phone cables and whatnot.

*edit*

It didn't occur to me that the issue could be anything other than this, if there's a chance that it is ISP related that would be a relief.

I have deleted your session, please reboot your router.

Please also try and bypass your splitter filter on your dsl and plug the cable directly into the wall jack (test). Please let me know if this helps with you disconnects.

Good evening vinodh, please provide me your MWEB email address and I will look into this from my end.

Hey, I guess it's not bad at all :) Now it's almost finished. The current speed on the 1.2 GB torrent is around 30kB/s now!!! \o/
