Tx MwebGuy, i noticed the refresh coming through but no improvement. Requested port reset from dsl provider. I had sub 7ms pings during the day. These high ping periods seem to repeat mostly afternoon onto the night. Any suggestions?

I think this is mostly telkom's fault because they are still messing with the lines in the sinoville area.

Good morning, I would please like to know if there is any feed back regarding my request to have TOR's traffic optimised/checked out with the shaper

Hi Pr⊕phet,

I have sent your query to the relevant department as soon as I receive feedback, I'll update you.

I think this is mostly telkom's fault because they are still messing with the lines in the sinoville area.

This problem in the Sinoville area is driving me crazy. Yesterday my ping to mweb was between 10-60ms. Around 5pm everything went to hell again and local latency shot up to 400+ms. Checked at midnight and the problems wasn't any better.
This problem has been going on for more than a month in this area.

My phone calls usually gets dropped to telkom or they put me through to the wrong department. My friend has called them several times, and all they keep telling him is that they are aware of the problem. Its been a bloody month already!

Hey MWEB Guy

Not sure if this is the right place for this but since yesterday I cannot log onto any Mweb servers in BF3.

I just tried joining the ZA Mweb Conquest 64 #5 300% tickets server and it says something about punkbuster kicking me out because players from n/a cannot join.

I read up on this and apparently we have a cool feature that blocks international hackers so it kicks all int players but I am a local dude with an mweb account so what gives:)

Just thought I would ask here as I can join other servers just not my ISP's ones

Thanks

Oh joy, the customary January "death-shape" in full swing....the only thing that comes down at full speed is the odd linux distro. Even nntp is castrated.
