I am well aware that my line is with telkom, I was hoping that you could answer some of of the questions.

They are busy with the line, and they cant give me a time of when its going to be fixed.

Hi Anniza

"I am on a uncapped 4 meg line for mweb and it has been awesome so far."

I was just reading into the above you stated.

It will be best to find that out by Telkom. Keep calling them until the provide you with a TAT.

I did not ask HIM TO FIX THE LINE I ASKED WHAT IS IMAX DSLAM, I am also aware that mweb cannot fix the line.

Maybe my second question was phrased badly but since you have seen fit to be smart ass and have not bothered to even be a little bit help full, I dont know why I even bothered in the first place.

I am phoning them twice a day, I have contacted people at telkom that only work with ADSL and they still cant help me.

I have been fighting with this issue since friday night, I cannot even open speed test at this point it is so slow. My download speeds max out at less than 10kb, and my upload is faster than my download.

My latency is over 350ms to my first hop. I am trying to get this fixed any way I can and I thought maybe just maybe mweb could check something on their side, maybe ask someone at telkom for some info or something.

They have already pushed this up to senior telkom technicans but my line is still next to useless.

Maybe is my entire future was not based on having a functioning internet, I could take it easy and mock people about it.

Hi MWEB Guy,

I was previously an MWEB 4MB uncapped ADSL user about 1.5 years ago but since then cancelled my account, moved residence, changed jobs and all. I am now looking into getting another uncapped account, 1Mbps account for home usage (Bigtime surfer
Uncapped ADSL). Is it possible I can get a loan account to test for a week or so?

Thanks.

Seems to be funny lag spikes every 5 or 10 minutes since about 40 mins ago ......

It cleared up and went back to normal at about 6:30 Mweb Guy. Just thought I'd note it at the time and see if anyone else was affected :)

i phoned telkom yesterday? and they logged a call out, but today my interwebs are working fine again, but a can confirm that there is some infrastructure upgrades going on in my area

Just thought I would pop in here and say that everything has been fantastic so far. Latency, speeds and up-time have been great. Keep doing whatever you guys are doing.

Hi Nookie

Thank you for the positive feedback.

Telkom switched off my adsl line when they were fixing it today, and tried to claim that they fixed it. It's like they're punishing me at this point. Not mweb's fault, but still, I'm down.

Yikes, looks like International Bandwidth is down:
