For Will@MwebGames:
When I use my Afrihost Account, I can download Steam Games at full line speed - the IP Address Steam is connecting to is "196.38.180.3" (local), this is with download region set to "Johannesburg" - however, with Mweb, I get around 25kb/s - 30kb/s and the IP is connecting to "212.187.192.158" (international), this is with both download region set to "Johannesburg" as well as "Johannesburg (MWEB)"
Not only does this mean downloading Steam Games can be painfully slow, but you guys are also wasting money on International Bandwidth when the content (in this example, Sniper Elite V2) is hosted locally. Please can you guys look into this - with the content hosted locally as well as peering going on between the ISP's now, there's no reason we should be forced to download the shaped, international content when the content exists locally at full line speed.
