Yes i know how to test seperately, but here there is no need because when there is a dip everything goes down to a total of 5-10KBps, I have more than one type running atm. And yes browsing allso gets slow, havent had one of those mysterious white pages for a while though so that's good.

You have a 384 shaped connections and therefore your speeds will fluctuate. When your browsing gets slow, are you downloading at the same time?

I am not aware of any changes... Let me know if you encounter the problem again...

Check the difference between Mweb and Afrihost, for instance.... 45KB/s versus 108KB/s.
Did another router restart just now: Download Speed: 58 KBytes/s. :(

Yes. Those were using the IS speedtest servers in Rosebank. On the Mweb one I got about 5KB/s more.

Ooh... weird... second time this has happened.... The first time was about two weeks ago.
My speeds are now fine, after 5pm.

This is weird though... I would like to get to the bottom of it... mabe we can do some testing on our side...

Okay. Would be appreciated.
As said, only twice this whole month did I notice this - as if, and I'm not saying it is, my line was throttled to 50KB/s from around 10am to 5pm.
 
No problem, but it's weird that even my attainable rate is showing 4.7? Strange, do you think it could be that they are still fiddling with the port? Maybe try and recreate and stabilize ? Sorry to bother you!!!

I have tried recreating the port already.. more than once.... it doesnt help...
 
Wow strange cause our Internet doesn't drop? I think they're fiddling with our line atm
