Apparently a brief problem occured with upstream peering at LINX (London Internet Exchange), connections are already being brought back up and the problem should be very brief.

Yeah, and it's not the D3 servers, whenever D3 dies, my Gtalk connection dies and other int connections.

Evening Bar_Rat, when we do network upgrades the downtime is normally minimal... however if there is any downtime you will be notified ahead of time...

Only the 384 data only accounts will be automatically upgraded.

The 1meg accounts pricing structure will change.

Good evening, if you are on a 384 all inclusive package; you will have to contact MWEB for the upgrade to take place. This is due to the difference in cost of the 1meg all inclusive and the 384 all inclusive.

The price for the 1meg deata only will be R199.00 and the cost of the all inclusive package will be R488.00

Does mweb deduct money in the begining or at the end of the month? We got the 1mb uncapped in the begining of may, can't remember the exact day but they just deducted R378.00. I would like to know if this is for june and may which would make it R189.00PM not R199 thanks.

384 accounts goes to 1mb accounts for free , not your line , telkom needs to that, they may announce 384-1mb free upgrade soon.

The cost of the 1meg all inclusive have come down. All the 384 data only clients will be upgraded at no cost; however they still need to pay Telkom for the upgrade of the line to 1meg.
