if your on unshaped you can pull as much as you want with whatever software you want
Hi Veneficus,
I dont agree with your statement. Using software that bypasses our shapers is in breach of our T & C's (already covered on these threads) . For that reason you can not use whatever software you want

According to hellopeter complaints, MWEB is now disconnected high-usage people too - even those who have NOT bypassed shaping... so much for being uncapped.
Anyone know what the decided limit is, or is it one of those changing limits that we have to thumb suck?

I have a problem with your account department, can I post it here?
Hi DreamKing
You can PM me and will have our Billing department look into your query.
Kind Regards

Hi xrapidx
This is not true, our product is and will remain uncapped.
The only customers that were disconnect was those that bypassed our shaping rules and AUP and opted to cancel instead of going onto a internet addict package.

MWEB Operations
As per the mail we sent to you, your average usage over an extended period of time and the unattended downloads place your usage well outside the acceptable curve in terms of our fair usage policy.
Ettiene Cloete Noel , thanks for saving me the trouble of referring to the actual written correspondence. The crux of the matter refers to ..."the sustained unattended downloads at high speeds over long periods of time".
I think we have covered this already ?
Really? So this stated by MWEB on hellopeter is wrong?
And this from facebook:
So what this is saying, is that if our downloads are downloading at high speeds over extended periods, we'll get the ban hammer - this makes no mention of bypassing shaping.
