Mweb Uncapped Shaping More Relaxed this Afternoon?

For the past couple of weeks we've had nothing but painfully slow p2p, during shaped and unshaped hours over Mweb 4mb Uncapped.

This afternoon I got an sms from a friend that he was getting 140kB/s on P2P at 1Pm.
To my disbelief, I checked it out and was amazed to see that I was also getting the same speeds on P2P.

(He lives in Gauteng, I live in Kwazulu-Natal)

Anyone else getting these kind of speeds?
Do you think Mweb has finally sorted out the shaping issues?

Seems everyone is getting better speeds now. All we can do is pray is lasts!

Yeah mine seem to be better to but i am for sure not holding my breath... done 130mb in the last hour. Obviolsuy not on 4mb line. 384k a/c.

Strange that it happens a few hours before their upgrades are meant to be done. But it should stay roughly this speed after the upgrades hopefully.

In any case it is a Saturday, speeds should be at least 140kb ideally. edit: Decided to check it out and I'm also going at around 140Kb right now, same as last night.

Anyone having problems connecting to astraweb? I can't resolve any of the news server via Mweb's DNS.

Update: Back again - seemed to only effect news.astraweb.com - mweb stop playing around with dns entries!

Update1: And its dead again....time to use another dns server!!

My Line speed is 4mb and downloading from my company website so it's not p2p and I am getting 16kb/s I spoke to your technical department and they said someone will phone me back....lets wait...thx alot though man
