ADSL providers? [Long]

Hi guys

I'm a fairly serious internet user; I spend most of my time on Twitch/Youtube or playing Dota. My family (3 other) also use quite a large amount of our data. A few months ago I moved from Afrihost's 4mbps uncapped to Mweb because I was getting unplayable ping and abysmal download speeds and when I emailed them, about four or five times, they didn't reply with anything of actual use.

With my Mweb contract I didn't read the terms of their fair use policy, which I believe entitle me to around 110 gigs, and am now getting throttled after about 8 days into the month. I don't really see a way, nor want to cut down on use of internet. To try and solve my issues I had a few things in mind:
Option 1: Upgrade to a business line, I am not entirely certain of this and would like to know if this would be unshaped + throttled.
Option 2: Try a new ISP, possibly one that has the same plan only without the throttling.

A bonus would be any suggestions for the best ISP, ping-wise, to play on EU servers.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go back to Afrihost and get the business uncapped.

Firstly .. alot of the guys on mybb are serious internet users. Personally we (my brood) consume around 300 Gigs a month, because we cant get a faster line or fibre.

Secondly - MWEBs Free The Web turn around to Throttle the web was the most interesting internet saga in the recent past, surely you knew this?
And for free advice steer clear of Openweb.

Thirdly ..... Like the OPs above ... IMHO .... AH Business FTW.

MWebs FUP is based on a rolling 30 days so you don't get a clean slate on the 1st of the month ...

Alright guys, thanks for the quick replies. It seems afrihost is the way to go.

Afternoon, you also have the option of our Premium packages; the thresholds are allot higher.

Let me know if you would like some more options.
