MWEB Uncapped - something big might be happening tomorrow!

Unless they allow you to download what you want (in which case there would probably be some kind of encryption program to prevent "sharing" :) ), surely they couldn't make that work on a 384k line?

I'm on a 4mb line and I'd Still have reservations about the bandwidth that would be needed to stream at a decent res on my 32" Sammy.....

I know its been said before, but given that it seems to be a joint "press release"... Its almost a safe bet that its some type of convergence between Mweb and DStv

Their original post on Facebook said around 10:30..... am refreshing that page every now and again... will post here when I know more.

I'm going to be a pessimist and say you're all looking too high.
Not IPTV or anything that cool.

I'll go for something 'boring' like "On the fly itemised billing" or "200 Free Wi-Fi minutes a month"

I like to aim low, so that I'm never disappointed when it doesn't live up to expectation :)
I'm secretly hoping for less shaping, or a local p2p proxy that increases p2p downloads... or putting Xbox Live and Playstation Network as high on the priority list as HTTP :)

Sigh, about 1 hour 20 min to go... Anyone notice how that last stretch of time can feel like the longest xD

While I like your way of thinking which reduces dissapointment - I don't think they would state is as BIG NEWS if it wasn't something big..........

Quite excited about it!

Toast

You mean they aren't going to give me my own 1.21 Gigawatt superline and have Jessica Alba statues put up to hold my satellite dish? :(

IF -- you had a GigaWATT line you would be Toast -- and so would Jessica Alba

Yes - kinda like when you are on the N1 between Engen 1 Stops and you need a pi$$ of death ;)
