BIG mistake for any ISP to announce anything on this forum. Many vicious tigers around that will eat them alive if they do not deliver. Ask WA
 
Personally, i'd be a happier customer if they spent more energy / resources into improving their current offerings as opposed to adding new offerings.
 
i would be happy with less shaping during office hrs...i know its a lot to ask...

I doubt it will be line speeds, although that would be nice.
 
my money is on faster access/speed bursts at night
 
Well im gonna be a first time ADSL user later this week hopefully and decided to go with mweb. Hope this is something big that will make the first time experience even better. (shakes fists at screamer wireless)
 
Although I wish it is faster line speeds, I believe that is something that Telkom has to do and the ISPs have no choice.

Seeing as they are "kop in een mus" with Multichoice, I would not be surprised if it's an IPtv type thing...
Or else less shaping. Those are the things they have control over.
 
well on the dstv forum apparently they making an announcement tomorrow. so i am guessing a bundle with uncapped and dstv premium bouquet.. double play option..

high speed internet + satellite tv.. thats the most likely announcement.

Sounds like something they mentioned they were "looking into" when they first announced their uncapped packages.
More than likely a DStv / uncapped bundle discount.
