MWEB Uncapped - something big might be happening tomorrow!

4MB ADSL lines at 384 prices?
Oh wait .. this is not Cansas.

I bet they're going to be selling 3G uncapped or a variation of that.
In fact ... I'd bet my G5 mouse on it.

And, I am dead sure because there is absolutely no 3G in the area where I stay so I will derive zero benefit from it.

Telkom discontinued their WiMax service. I take it you do need Telkom WiMax for a mweb account to work on it. :)

I have been expecting them to intoduce some additional capped packages, and to bring down the price from R99 per 1.5GB.

I know that sounds boring, but there is a huge gap between the 384Kbps capped, and the 4096Kbps uncapped. (512Kbps is a waste IMO).

Dude... Capped is dead. You cannot run an uncapped service with the "low" users on a capped account and the "high" users on uncapped.

Who wants to take a bet it's an IPTV service... perhaps tested for the month by myBB boys.

+1, since screamer I want to stay as far away as possible from anything wireless. Allthough my issues with screamer was High Site issues, when it was on it was nice, got like 50KB/s and was unshaped.

LOl + 1 hoping for faster speeds and also +1 for less shaping and +1 for lower prices ... haha

The fact that they gave a specific time will probably have loads of eager people sitting and refreshing the page from around 10:20

I am hoping that it is less shaping... I have yet to see 100+KB/s off rapidshare, and it is really starting to irritate slightly... give me my guaranteed 400KB/s on RS after 6PM, and I will be extatic... :)

I am hoping for them to unshape everything. No throttling and No shaping at all. All protocols will be unshaped. Speeds will come from Telkom in another month, and more packages will be released when that happens. For now I want unshaped.

I know the story... and I didn't even need any secret contacts...

MWEB ARE *drum rolls* GOING TO SHAPE US EVEN MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10KB/s HERE WE COME!!!!!!!! HOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

... bastards ;)
