I'd hardly call 1mbps "flying" but okay... I guess some like paying for mediocre service whereas others are careful where they spend their money each month

Everything is fine my side, steam rollin at 350 . Websites are lekka. Not everyone has problems, for you it is mediocre dude. I find it far from mediocre.

Maybe get a different uncapped account or capped perhaps.

There is an IPC outage affecting all areas according to the MWeb helpcenter. I wouldn't be surprised if this was an inside job done by Telkom.

Mweb is painfully slow here too...

But it seems to come and go...
I am downloading from newsgroups as well.. and it goes from 70k to 0... while news is at 0k, I cant even surf... stays like this for a while.. then back to 70k and surfing flies..

Its like a roller coaster this afternoon

And again...Cant seem to get more than 70 kB/s on torrents...restarting the torrents gives me a speed boost for about 2-3 min and then "the slowness" kicks in
I'm thinking of going to Afrihost if this is what MWEB offers on a 4Meg package!!!
