Hey guys,
Over the past week or so my speeds have been rather slow, torrents and NZB's dont seem to go over 90kB/s. HTTP traffic also seems to be rather slow.

My connection also seems to randomly drop, I do not lose sync but I cannot connect to my account until I restart the router :/
I have a Webafrica account 4mb/s 20gig, and thinking a bout changing over to Mweb Uncapped.
But reading this thread, im starting to wonder if its worth it.
Web Africa have stopped just about all p2p downloads during office hours which is not a train smash.
But it sounds to me that mweb uncapped is slow all the time, or at best inconsistent.
Im in PE, most of my heavy downloading is with with the likes of Rapidshare.
Can anyone tell me if its worth changing to uncapped?
I say then get 50gigs from afrihost.
What speed do the 384 guys get on torrents during the day? Mine runs at around 2kb/s, if I download 40mb from 8am to 5pm its a lot
My speeds only increase to 15+kb/s after 10pm
I understand its shaped during the day, but 4% of your line speed is throttled to say the least
I'm pretty much ontop of you area wisegetting good speeds with decent seeded torrents. Erratic though.

Other downloads during the day are good, but torrents hopeless. For example at 7pm they had gone up to around 4 to 5kb/s. Switch my Vodacom router on & was 100kb/s + in a minute. Oh well

*sigh* After about four or five emails, I STILL haven't heard anything from MWEB about sorting out my ridiculously slow "4 meg" line. It's more like dial up at the moment!
This little gem was sent to me via email: "Please be informed that we have forwarded your query to the department that is dealing with your query."
So... you are going to send me query to the people that are... dealing with it? How are they dealing with it if you haven't sent it? *headdesk*
Almost three weeks, that's how long I've been waiting for my connection to be fixed. And I'm getting VERY annoyed.
