EVEN THEN>>> Why would it ever become your business? If you cannot find a use for 20GB CAP apart from the odd (Maybe) family e-mail, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT TO DO WITH UNCAPPED.

So fear not, we will not affect YOU, so it will never become you business. Now concentrate on that e-mail. If you want PM me your e-mail and I will also send you a/some text only mail to use your 20GB to download with.

Hey, that is something I do on occasion. Actually quite enjoyable too. I would recommend you try it some time but from my experience of you on here your reading and comprehension skills aren't the greatest.

Stop attacking others. I am so happy to use the extra 15GB YOU do not use due to Your lack of interest and forward thinking.

Ahh, yes the 15Gb (although I did say 20Gb... must be that comprehension thing again) I apparently can't use because I don't have a life. Oh, and you really need to sort out your definition of attacking! My initial post was not directed at anyone in particular. Your post, however, is a direct "attack" on me. But I find it humorous unlike you who appears to be the guardian of all here on MyBB as you regularly feel the need to jump to the defence of them.

That is exactly why the business model is working. I thank thee very much for the oppurtunity that YOU and the other millions out there afford us ,courtesy of Mweb, Afrihost and Fox. Just keep it up my OLD man, as if you use the other 15GB then I will be "shaped" to hell.

Ahh, you see that is where I am going wrong. I didn't realise that finding stuff on the internet to download had to do with one's imagination! I thought it was more a matter of typing "big boobies" in to the search engine and seeing what came up.


And how unfortunate that you posted this. I was just telling someone how our marriage counselling sessions appeared to be working as you had been a lot less ratty. Oh well....

Shame, I could go to the bother of trying to explain it to you but I have little doubt that it would be a total waste of my time anyway.

Have you heard of Screamer? Digichilli? Even SAOL? Where did their cheap uncapped offerings go?

Ahh, You see, thats what I found, You cannot comprehend and read at the same time. See 20GB-5GB (You use for e+mails+porn)=15GB for me and everyone else to waste! Wonderful is it not.

This is between them and the contracted provider. It has nothing to do with you. Mweb has put their own controls into place to deal with this, so let them deal with it. Mweb is either going to shape them to death or cut them off, or ban them from the network. But they sure as heckfire don't give a rat's tushie, what Sir Whinealot thinks about it. ;) kapisch?

The thing is that I really have no problem with option two and three but unfortunately that is not what experience shows us. Even option one would be ok, although we'd all then suffer as they never just shape an individual. Unfortunately experience shows that the usual outcome is that the company realises the offering is no sustainable and we all lose out as it is withdrawn! Kapisch?

I am expressing an opinion. The same opinion I expressed when people were comparing dick sizes in the Digichilli uncapped thread. The same opinion I expressed in the SAOL uncapped thread when they were bragging. Perhaps I should start gloating about things I predicted like others on here seem to do...

Lance I think Gary answered it best when he said MWeb have their controls in place to deal with your fears. Look at their T&Cs. I think a company of the magnitude of MWeb would hate to have to report to its parent company Naspers that it has not done its research about the possible market reaction if it has to report unexpected losses as a result of this uncapped offering.

Gary, you have been around for a little while so if I could ask you, at risk of course of further derailing it, how exactly my first post derailed this?

The thread is about MWEB uncapped feedback. A number of posts started discussing the quantity downloaded thus far. I expressed my opinion on this. I fail to see the derail.

Perhaps my comment, although not directed at anyone in particular, about 15 year olds and porn could have been seen as a derailing point but it was definitely helped along by the numerous and plentiful insults that followed. At least my post had something to do with the topic! Not sure what my sex life, dick size, rugby team choice etc etc etc has to do with the topic?

And you are 100% accurate there! That was one of the first things I noticed and was happy with. Although..... the 4Meg line is over 10 times faster than the 384k line and yet the price does not reflect this! ;)
 
Hi Guys,

Well lets put it this way, the reality of it is to have an account and test it, I signed up today for a 4mb home user account to test, the signup process was quick and simple and I have been running this line since 6 tonight, and my findings are.

The latency on the link to local and international sites is around 15 - 20% higher than our saix test account, google.com is around 300ms on a saix account, and on the mweb account it varies from 350 to 400ms, to the UK as well we notice this, what I notice is on the trace route to these sites when testing is there is a lot of route flapping going on on the links, and this does introduce a higher latency due to this. BUT there is a noticable difference.

Our local servers here on a saix account our test on a saix is 12ms stable, but on the mweb account it ranges from 18ms to 40ms more than double.

I can say that the speeds on the mweb account are definately better than our afrihost and IS account, but there are some noticable delays at times and it pi...ses me off when it happens, but for the price the accounts are probably a better deal than the other uncapped accounts around at the moment. We will be monitoring these accounts to do a decent comparison over the next few weeks to see which is going to pan out to be the better one of the lot, and will be posting the results.

Right now for normal access I will switch back to my Saix account, the only thing that sucks is its a normal account pay per Gb.

You started about the porn and Dick size, the rest was all just some tips and ideas to get you going on how to use the other 15GB.

Ahh, shame Mr innocent Whinealot (I liked that), YOU ATTACKED everyone who is partaking in their rightfully purchased UNCAPPED high volume downloading of data usage. Was not a opinion but a UGLY worded baiting attack. You just got what you deserved. I promise you, You will see more coming (not from me). Anyway its as said NONE of your business, It's MWEB'S business and they have not complained. I said my piece, now you can have peace to clear your mind on how to fruitfully use what you paid for. Now lodge your complaint at MWEB or "Whine-a-lot" together with your own ISP, before they go down! LOL
