My Black Ops (I'm not going to try any MMO as I know they suffer as well) is not working again.
It is working perfectly on Telkom though. If there pings were decent I would really be using them. I'm not normally one to get frustrated, but I cannot understand why there has been suce a steep increase of problems. I'm almost reporting the same thing twice a week. Mweb not working, Telkom is.

MWG, please let me know if there is a general problem. As stated before, I'm in Howick, KZN.

Hi Deadcore,

Please send me your MWEB details so I can arrange for someone to cont- Oh I'm sorry I just can't keep it up with a straight face.

But really, as good of a job you're doing Mweb guy, this is a NETWORK WIDE ISSUE. Details upon details aren't going to fix what is screwy to the core.

Hahahahaha.

MWeb has a very efficient ticketing system - it all goes into the dustbin - still waiting for that famous engineer call to fix my problems:

"Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Please inform us of a preferred contact number and convenient time that one of our technical specialists may give you a call-back to assist.

Please contact us should you require any further technical assistance.
"

What are you going to tell me? Restart my router? Switch to unprotected mode? How about showing me that faster button? For what it's worth, we have the same issues with MWEB business as well and will move off.

BTW: No issue with any of the other ADSL ISPs so the finger is pointing straight at you MWEB for providing shoddy ISP services.

I'm new in the market for an ADSL ISP, from everything I've read on the forum it's between MWEB and Openweb and Openweb seems to be leading when it comes to performance and reliability.

World of Warcraft has been unplayable the last few days. I have tried 3 Different ISPS using WTFast and Battleping, but there is horrible throughput on everything. Whenever there is a lot of people or a lot of stuff going on I get spike lag. I have checked my line stats and they are identical to what they previously were. I really dont know what the problem is. Has there been a problem with our international bandwidth nationally? Using Mweb and WTFast its relatively playable on a 10 man format, with the occassional spike lag but it just isnt normal. Please help.

Surely there is a way to integrate something on the helpdesk IVR/Push#-Thingmabob so technically minded people don't have to deal with the riff raff on the front line? I mean no disrespect to them though; they surely have a purpose for the 95% of 'moms and pops' who call.

Suggestion to Mweb - Consolidated this thread and start a new one. 892 pages of whining is a lot...

MOrning MagicDude4Eva, please provide me your preferred contact details and I will ensure you receive a call from a technician.

Kind regards, MWEB Guy

MOrning Zord, please provide me screenshots of in game latency, tracers and/or continuous pings to the servers in question. I will then ensure that we do some testing as well.

Can't login to Champions Online, stuck on "Retrieving list of maps", using their tool to check if I'm having connectivity issues, haven't gotten results yet, stuck on port 80.
Checked on canyouseeme.org:
Error: I could not see your service on 41.13x.xxx.xxx on port (80)
Reason: Connection timed out

It was working at around 2am.

Please help. =(

Hi Nerhzelok, please varify if you are able to log into any other STEAM games?

Trying to log in, doesn't seem to be working. Netlimiter shows no traffic for steam.exe.
Was having this issue last night but eventually it just worked. :/

Excuse my last post, I can actually login, but when I select my player and start loading
the game it gets stuck on retrieving list of maps. Sometimes it gets to the "Loading"
screen, but then at the top it shows "Server not responding" repeatedly. Server status
says it is online.

Please provide me a few screenshots illustrating your problem and I will escalate it to the relevant department to varify if we can replicate it.

It is mweb that is ****ed, I get the same result on both my computers here. As soon as I tunnel/proxy the traffice via CO's proxy setting it works instantly, but when it is as it should be normally nothing. Switch over to webafrica and no issues.

Mr Mweb Guy, Get steam Get champions on line and sort the problem out. I'm definitely cancelling come first July and I can't play CO normally without having to babysit mweb's traffic and DNS to avoid horrid shaping and DNS problems.

:e
Had mayor issues yesterday with global agenda's account page. Just timed out or is VERY slow and I had to register via my webafrica pre-paid.
