Can confirm 0.0 here to, soon NNTP will only be possible from 1am to 6am

This is concerning then. Mweb have said they will take action if you try and bypass their shaping. Why then did you get a notice if its just normal P2P?

I do the same - during the day its all queued as i get 0Kbps, and then at night it opens up. Will I also get a notice? :confused:

Moral of the story: DO NOT RUN YOUR ADSL LINE AT MAX 24/7 else you will get a notice of warning...

i think thats what i need to do from now on and watch my downloads...

there was a while this month when the shaping was not too bad and i got some decent speeds during the day...maybe it was too good to be true cos i'm paying for it now :(

can't believe i'm being penalized for using my line to its full potential.
 
This is why I got the unshaped package. Half the hassles and none of this absolutely unacceptable fair use garbage. You should be able to download as much as you want (though it has been argued to death here already).

Last time i checked was 7:30 and then mine was still at 0.0kb/s. I Would also love to know how you get 40-50 kb/s during the day. Yeh there is really something wrong with their shaper, has to be, cause at 11pm i still got 12kb/s. How can it possibly be that busy at 11pm or just as busy at 4pm as it is at 8pm? WOULD REALLY LIKE AN ANSWER TO THIS.

Yet it seems you reply much faster to the 1 positive post in 3 pages than all the other posts with actual issues. Both you and Mwebguy replied to him and quoted him ROFLlols. Just pointing it out bro.
 
Getting great speeds on steam and HTTP, full 420Kb/s for either.

Just hope that livestreams will be doing fine this weekend.

Yeeeaaaahh.. I spoke too soon, my HTTP downloads dropped to 20-80KB/s. o.o

Edit: ..and my Steam download (Team Fortress 2) went up to 20KB/s then slowly dropped to 0.

The hell just happened?
 
I have to say that streaming has been amazing for the past 2 days. I don't know what changed, but it was great to be able to watch the GSTL during the day for once...

NNTP isn't at 0.0kb/s for 24 hours a day anymore either, though international servers are still dead for most of the day for me...
