... torrents are dead, clearly lower than the lowest priority... I can browse, some websites faster than others, perhaps because of local caching... other than that, the websites that I need to work are dog slow... must still be broken...

Would like to ask something. The last few weeks or so I have been having a strange issue happen to me. I would be happily connected and browsing/playing when all of a sudden the connection to any website would just refuse to load. Then my windows network icon states that I have no internet access however the router has a Mweb ip address and everything seems correct. I have to basically disconnect the router and reconnect it, relog into the mweb account before I get my internet connection back.
Any Idea why this would be happening?

Astonishing, because the download link pages don't load for me on MWEB. I've just purchased and activated a 1GB capped account with another ISP ... and guess what ... the pages load up perfectly. So this is CLEARLY MWEB's problem/fault, not mine.
I can open media fire links, but have the exact problem you are describing with Mega Upload and Mega shares during the day and right now, I think its a new shaping tactic.

That's what I was thinking. They must have just changed something, because the download link page has just appeared (I kept trying every few minutes for the last few hours).
[Although I think it may be giving a cached result or something, because the download link redirects back to the page.]
