This is most likely related to the related to the Seacom outage being experienced.

Most likely? Or the actual cause?

Can we have some word on the pro rata refunds for the next 2 weeks while optimal service isn't delivered?

Also, torrents are completely dead again and can't connect to Steam.

Is your router setup on dynamic IP? Have you tried resetting(Not reboot) the router?

The only problem I now have with MWEB is there e-mail.... It lets through A LOT of spam mail..
 
Just import your mweb account into gmail, let gmails spam filter handle the spam

I am LOL'ing so much. Sure, they shut off filesonic and P2P - but they did miss quite a few hosts and now those missed ones are running at 400kb/s :p

Well I think the newtwork load is minimal atm so there is probably room for those to go full blast cause not much else can...

hey mweb guy. p2p and direct downloads are working again, though p2p is a little on the slow side, but not too bad. about 40% of the usual speeds. but considering seacom fails right now, this is pretty good.

again hoping that seacom gets fixed soon so we can all get on with our lives.

We are still running at 83%. We are still working on having the remaining capacity restored and will update everyone once done.

I'm actually here to apologize, profusely - SEACOM did not acknowledge that they had an issue when I contacted them, I blamed MWEB for the failure and went off at them on their various channels.
So from my side - Im sorry for throwing a bitch fit when contacting you guys.
