Use BitComet. Make sure you create a account and log in within your bitcomet client. Cause You will download faster. It has the p2sp/LTS connections.

This is what I'm getting on my Mweb 384K uncapped in Durban:

For some reason HTTP is slow to medium speed, youtube doesn't seem to be working at all, Torrents are working at between 15-22kb/s, news server work for about 5 minutes in an hour - max speeds of 7kb/s...so all in all its not been a good experience but then neither has my Afrihost 5GB account either so I'm thinking theres an issue with IS somewhere along the line..anyone can confirm this? Any suggestions..I did reset my router...

Outside of that I would like to thank Mweb for providing me with my free accounts details at the click of a finger with just one message on facebook. Now thats what you call service..

yep you wasted topping up. astra running at 420kB/s since early morn.

max i'm able to pull from rapidshare is 300kb/s. averaging at about 270kb/s.

sucks. i used to be able to download at 440kb/s from axxess uncapped after hours. now even on there i get same speeds - 270kb/s

yep - i have had SERIOUs issues the whole evening - speedtest (4mb line) went down to 0.2mb/s - then failed to load completely. Had telkom resynch my line - same issue - guy from telkom told me he had 6 mweb users phone in a row complaining about line speed.

Not sure whats going on - but a lot of the time i cant even load a damn web page - then otehr times it flies. Sometimes torrents hit 450kb's - other times they sit on 25kb/s.

For me the whole thing has been very unstable - and i paid for the full month - not sure if i will stay tbh - this throttling after midnight is ridiculous. :wtf:

Tracert indicates that all MWeb traffic is going via SAT-3 to London (not via SEACOM as yesterday), where it dies at hop 8!

at least now i can just switch to afrihost and my downloads will continue.
