MWEB Uncapped Subscribers Feedback

Billing discrepancies happen in every organisation from time to time, it's happened to me personally on more than one occassion when changing ISPS (of course I only use my own brand now :) ) If we had a nice neat list of them hidden away somewhere they wouldn't be discrepancies now would they? :) I can assure you that I'm never 'hardegat' with any of my customers - i'm just really concerned that this matter hasn't been resolved for you and it's my job as an MWEB representative in this space to sort it out for you and ensure that we give feedback to everyone here that we honor these commitments.

I'm sure you can understand that.

Sorry to labour this point.

When you left the other ISP, did you ask
for your money and did they give it back
without hesitation?

I presume they did, so why does MWEB
not do it...?

Speak to William Steffen (if that's not you)
and ask him why he doesn't want to reply
to e-mails requesting a refund. He will know
who it is.

It's all very well having an outward
appearance at the company of caring
for all customers, but when it comes to
the crunch the billing section just
won't cough up and keeps promising to
do it and then doesn't.

dude you cant expect someone who is the face of a company to start being unprofessional. some of you ppl are getting emotions involved in here.

If only I wasint afrikaans then my grammar would be better.

Thanks Degaron

As i explained over the weekend we're not here to pick a fight with anyone, just to get to know our customers and understand their needs and I'd really like to try and keep the discussions professional and friendly at all times. Unfortunately there are going to be people here who are frustrated and emotional at times - I can fully appreciate and relate to this, I'd just like to ask that everyone gives us a fair shout and an opportunity to address their problems when they occur.

Kind Regards
MWEB Operations(Tech Manager)

PS - I really have some pressing matters that need to be attended to here so I will most likely not be posting any further responses again this afternoon however the other members of the team will be monitoring for any customer service related questions.

I had to laugh ...
He's raised the white flag methinks.

Don't know anyone called Tanya.
Sorry.

Hi GingerBeer

You are quite right I do know exactly who you are now.

The additional refund that you requested on your HelloPeter complaint has been processed - the money should be in your account during the course of next week. I trust that you will forgive us the misunderstanding around this.

Kind Regards

Hey All,

Praise where praise is due.

have recently had my Telkom lines replaced after the 8th theft this year (i was absolutely gobsmacked that they bothered, to be honest). finally got my 4mb uncapped connection going again this morning. Have been getting fabulous speeds on my hotfile account. After previously being with WebAfrica and having switched to Afrihost about a year ago and now having been with Mweb for about two months, i really am happy with price vs performance.

I can understand everybody else's frustrations, but i at least, and at least for now am as happy as a pig in palestine.

My HoN client is updating at a feiry 4KB/s on 4meg... mmmm. Don;t usually have speed issues with my account but just curious, is this mweb or the hon server or something in between?

Speeds are miserable atm - have been for the past 48 hrs! All day I get max 60Kbs, then at 1am they turn their shaping off and I then get 100Kbps and at 8am they turn it on again and I go back down to 60Kbs! On a 4Mbps line!!
I might as well subscribe to their 384k package at this rate!

Check out my mrtg graph - their shaping is

Mweb,

Thanks for all the replies in this thread so far, how ever many of you guys share the account to answer.

In one of the previous posts, you mentioned the people that PM you their details probably end up in the SAIX pool, so, like I said before in my comments, I really hope that the September upgrades mean we won't see people with 20kb/s on a 4Mb line anymore. Yes, I'm not expecting 450kb/s all day (well.... ;)) but just that they perform consistently better than the 384kbps speeds that we are not paying for.

Dude I think you should take your issues offline. You are starting to irritate us.

VJB, I've tried all avenues.
This is the Feedback section.
I don't want anyone else to
get the same empty promises.
Let's not get too emo about it,
k?
