But if its just internartional thats down why cant I access mybroad band with my mweb account
 
I've tried both their sales and their account telephone numbers. Both completely dead.
Obviously something bigger is up...

Due to the peering cuts, MyBroadband is routed over MWeb's international links, as is all traffic to Hetzner.

We have currently lost connection to our international bandwidth due to failures on both the primary and secondary fibre links into our data centre. Engineers are working as fast as possible to restore the connectivity. we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this and will try to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

Apologies folks. There is an issue with an international line in SA (outside of our control) - ISPs not peered with MWeb will not be able to browse News24 and Mweb at the moment. Wish we could fix it ourselves but the problem isn't on News24's end.

hahaha im actually at the point where next month I wont have anything left to download so all the difficulties starting from last month is rather ironic.

In other news, the evil monopoly cut our lines with a big cutter today, because we didn't pay em. You guys are welcome to cancel, but continue paying us until 31st December. We were gonna apologise for the inconvenience but we have instead settled on "haters gonna hate".

I really didnt want to have to download the new 850mb WoW patch on a capped account today MWEB. Thanks for pulling through for us, again.
