Are MWEB shaping HTTP? The reason I ask is it seems to be time based (like most shaping), yesterday afternoon and most of yesterday night my 4meg line ran at just over 1meg, in the wee hours of the morning I got full speed.
This evening the same thing appears to be happening, 4 meg line is running at 1 meg.
MWEB Guy, could you comment please?

I'm also experiencing degraded internet access during day time hours. I finally got fed up of the whole thing, and decided to log my up/down speeds overnight and during the day while downloading over standard HTTP (mainly Linux distros and other files needed for university), and here's the graph:
You can clearly see near constant, maximum line speed download until around 07h45, after which it degrades significantly. To me that looks like some sort of shaping over HTTP, which is unacceptable in my books. Can anyone else confirm a similar situation?
Hi Everyone
We're aware that there seem to be a number of speed related complaints at the moment. We're not sure if this is a problem isolated to our network as I've seen a definite trend in speed complaints from other ISP subscribers on here today as well. Our engineers are exploring all possible causes on our side and we've escalated this to our connectivity partners to check all possible avenues. We'll update you as soon as we have any further information on the matter.
Thanks
Will
