Just off the phone with mweb, apparently their technical guy on duty (Doug) said it should be resolved in 5 minutes

Problem is if this lasts even just 1 minute it ruins any gaming/work/unresumable transfers (as rare as those are) people have. I really wish they'd get their arses in the gear of prevention.

did they tell you what is wrong?

Just got the "we're aware of the issue and resolving" thing. btw, got told their monitoring this thread atm, so feel free to go crazy giving Doug some support or abuse. Have to say the 5 mins has expired though. will call back at 9:30 to get an update if its not up

Our company uses a program called HipChat. It's only half working tonight :(
It loads some info, but I can't communicate with my colleagues. Could this be related to all the other crap that is going on?

Apparently its back up

Although empirical evidence would suggest otherwise.

Im in the Centurion area and I'm still having the wow problem of the loading bar hanging at 90%.

Whats a better ISP to move to rather than Mweb since I think they not bothered to sort this out.

Is anyone else having the problem experienced a while back on Black Ops, where it never gets past Fetching Stats?
Need to know if it is just me.

Finally seems to running normally on my side - downloaded DS3 demo from Steam and it came down like the clappers (NetTraffic stayed pretty constant at 400).

PS3 Game update running and able to stream justin.tv at 480p with no buffering.

It seems that someone, somewhere fixed something

Thanks

Answered my own question. Mweb please fix whatever changed on Black Ops for me. Telkom logs in Fine. If it wasn't for the peering issue with them, I'd at least be able to play. Mweb doesn't go past Fetching Stats. Exactly like it was that little while back :(

EDIT: Howick, KZN

Mweb feedback. Infamous download with PS3 via PSN flew at 1.469 GB in an 1:14'05. That's acceptable. Whatever Mweb did, please do not fix it as I fear you will break it again.

On NNTP Is still flying - I think I did a record on the amount of data I've downloaded.

Mweb...step away from the console. Don't touch a thing :)
