Ok so for the past 3 days I have been unable to raid in WoW. Last week I was perfect. Something happened on the weekend and I have no idea what it was. I am getting terrible spike lag and it makes the game unplayable during times of high throughput. I am currently using Mweb Uncapped Unshaped 1mbit. For literally the past 3 months I have had 0 problems with it. Since Sunday night I have been unable to raid, which is highly frustrating. I thought it was my Mweb account so I purchased 1 gig of Unshaped Bandwidth from WebAfrica which uses Sat3 instead of Seacom. Still the same problems. I logged a fault with Telkom but they said there is nothing wrong with my line. I looked at the router stats and nothing has really changed, some downstream Noise Margin fluctuations which I guess are normal. I did a tracert to eu.logon.battle.net and simultaneously pinged the congentco hop and the next hop which was to Telia. The Congentco hop had 0 packet loss while the Telia hop had about 2% of packet loss. I have no idea what is going on. Please help me.
quite bad this morning, all websites timing out, and having to refresh constantly. Was on SAOL lastnight, perfect!... - absolutely no hassels there...

Been having packet loss myself man. Nothing wrong with line, gave mweb insane amounts of info and they recreated it on their test bench. Still, 3 weeks and nothing except your query has been escalated. They wont fix the issue sadly. Mweb Guy ignores posts like this or he will pm you and ask for info till you finally give up.
Hi,
Thank you for the results, I have logged this with our Technical Specialists and as soon as I hear anything from them, I will inform you thereof.
Regards,
MWEB Guy
Thanks, MWEB Guy, those two fileserve urls are working again, as is mediafire.
Thanks for the feedback cybershark, it is much appreciated.
Good Morning Sillicur, please note that your query is with our network team and I have sent a request for feedback.

@MWEB Guy, now that I tested an actual fileserve download, I get the same problem I had yesterday, the download times out before it gets redirected to the actual download url.
Hi,
Could you please provide me with the url so I can test it from my side as well.
I'd like to see if I can replicate the issue.
Kind regards,
MWEB Guy
Got the same with fileserve...Individual download pages on mediafire.com not opening again -- just sits in browser waiting to load indefinitely. Main index page opens.![]()
I tested in the browser and IDM, both don't start.Hi,

Got the same with fileserve...
This really needs to be sorted out. I understand mediafire, etc. are shaped -- that's fine -- but repeatedly completely blocking access to the site is not acceptable in my opinion.
@MWEB: Any chance of this being fixed NOW and not in 3 or 6 or 12 hours time? This is not the first time this has happened, so I now consider it to be unacceptable.
I'm assuming the problem lies with MWEB, because the last time this occurred, I specifically purchased a 1GB capped account with another ISP and was able to access all media fire pages I wanted to.
