Good Morning Everyone

As you may know by now there is currently a SEACOM outage and we are running at a little over 60% of our required International capacity. We have had confirmation from SEACOM that full repairs will most likely take a few days to complete. SEACOM are however in a process of arranging additional bandwidth for us via alternative routes and we hope that this will be in place by the end of the day. We understand that this is very frustrating for everyone and we would like to thank you for your patience.

I downloaded a 170mb video clip last night. Now I can't play it because it's corrupt. It's really weird. I use IDM. Is it because of this outage? Just asking.

Good morning everyone

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding regarding this outage. A Seacom outage and losing the rugby really made this a double whammy weekend.

We know it's really frustrating and we are doing everything we can to get back up to full capacity, which we hope will be before the end of the day.

Also I just wanted to point out that at this stage we have no confirmation to the rumor that Bryce Lawrence was spotted in a dingy off the coast of France on Saturday morning.

my downloads is 0kbps since early this morning. i am definately cancelling my mweb for sure. i'll try telkom, at least they dont use seacom. bye-bye mweb this time for sure...

Just bare in mind, Telkom only seems to work well after 6PM and then full speed after 10PM, which is fine if you dont use the net in the day! ^.^

mmm. no downloads. dont work at all. browsing is still fine at least though.

can't really blame mweb for this, but seacom since installation has had way too many downtimes like this.
very unfortunate.

Not at present cybershark. We currently make use of Seacom and SAT-3, but it's entirely possible that we would make use of other cable providers in the future as they become available and our network expands.

Currently, customers on our Business Uncapped Unshaped products have sufficient capacity and are not affected by the outage.

Yet my downloads are failing - and have done so since the Seacom failure ?

If this was result of a rar.part1 file that you combined in winrar then try using 7zip. That outa sort out your problem

Plus concerning Bryce Williams.. I'll be having a picture of his photo on my dart board for target practice
