Hi MWEB Guy, is the shaping rules the same as with the last Seacom outage on the P2P, after 11 at night it works again ? Have not tested it, just wanna know.
 
mweb soooooooo slow since last week, i even have to refresh browser a lot to open the website overseas. what happened to mweb?
 
One thing that sucked though was this weekend I downloaded A HUGE 8GB file that didnt have a resume option and it was 98% complete. BAM SEACOM k@ked and lost everything.

We have had confirmation from SEACOM that full repairs will most likely take a few days to complete. SEACOM are however in a process of arranging additional bandwidth for us via alternative routes and we hope that this will be in place by the end of the day. We understand that this is very frustrating for everyone and we would like to thank you for your patience.

When are you expecting that alternate bandwidth SEACOM is securing to come on-line ...Any updates ???

While it sucks that Seacom is having issues - I'm thankful that Mweb has built in some redundancy into this product! Hopefully one day even if a cable goes down they'll have enough capacity on another one to not have their operations affected ala SAT/SAFE

My speeds have also been quite kuk the past couple days. Very frustrating. torrents not even moving slightly on a 4mb line
