MXIT problems

Before someone decides to run me down for using MXIT. It is cheaper to pay 2c per a message than +-80c.

For the last couple of days usually from 7:30PM (ON MTN) I can no longer connect to MXIT.

Anyone else having this problem?

Have you tried deleting MXIT and re-downloading it?

i think the network gets over full, as i sometimes have to try and login 6-7 times...

...that time could well mxit peak hours, i've there is something like mxit forums, maybe check there

No problems on my side, although there have been messages from "Info" saying that they are aware of such problems and are working on it.

I reckon mxit should look into adding another couple of servers to their network

No problems. We have to test stuff on mxit (our office is in Heldervue) and no problems.

I am experiencing the same between 18h00 and 20h00.

On the Xperia im running both Java and the PPC version of Mxit, so if the one doesnt log in, i use the other platform and it logs in first time aroun.

This is strange coz both of them connect via socket, not HTTP. So log in protocol is exactly the same for the 2 versions. Also, a soft reset goes a long way to getting you to log into mxit. It seems asif your device id resets to a newer number after a reboot and then Mxit server gives you right of way over the older device ID?
