MXQ-4K RK3229 Quad Core Android TV Box?

Full on noob here - I bought one 10 days ago and I'm happy with it.

Kodi's pre-installed and works well, although I've had to use it with Ethernet cable. Wi-Fi is built in but seems a bit sluggish on occasion - that could just be me because I don't know what to expect.

I downloaded a Miracast app to stream video from tablet to TV but the picture and sound judder and stutter. Mirroring pictures is fine.

GTXgaming did a bit of streaming youtube etc and might offer more valuable advice.

Bought one from gtxgaming, delivery was quick and they are helpful.

I have an issue with wi-fi reception that is almost non-existent, even though other devices in the same room work perfectly on that wi-fi signal. Still playing around this problem, will let you know. It flies when connected via Ethernet cable.

Remote controller is totally useless.

Remote is essential for me. Any workaround for that?

I've had no issues with the remote myself. I wasn't amused that the unit came with an American plug, so I had to get an adapter. The native interface is sucky and uncustomisable, but the Android launcher sees fine.
