My after hours project

A suggestion, on the search company screen, Align the width of the labels (ie. Search, Tags and Regions).

Also the width of the input boxes, the search has rounded corners but the other two don't.

Make them all look the same. I believe it'll look better that way.

while i was going through the site last night i kept looking at the wizard and thinking if it wouldnt be better to come up with a mobile version of that page.

things like the search page i think are still using tables and a bunch of other things. you can fix that to fit a mobile screen.

im not sure you a responsive view will help overcome the clunkiness of the wizard..

yeah i know what you mean. im using select2 to create those combo boxes on them and the select2 styling is overriding the normal bootstrap styling. last time i tried to fix it the combo boxes stopped working but it's going to have to be done sooner or later.

I have written a wizard layout that is fully responsive for our system, it is not "clunky" at all.

i haven't. im using smartwizard3, a plugin i found and it's clunky as heck.

perhaps it's worth switching to something like fuelux's wizard

Or perhaps just write your own? I will never understand why people just flood their systems with components to hell and back when it can be so simply created.

the short answer is because the wizard is a small part of what im trying to accomplish so im trying to lean on frameworks and plugins as much as i can

Right... Well UI experience is a priority when it comes to web development, an unhappy experience will make for an unhappy user. Whether that is your top priority or not, it should be.

tapatalk doesn't see all caps. the Google logon thing is a weird intermittent bug. so far I can fix it by restarting the site on azure.. not really sure what's happening but I'm definitely on it first thing tonight

it just keeps redirecting back to the login page. I have no clue why. It's standard template login code with zero differences...

raith gravatar makes an awesome difference :)

Add "Encouraged" to the headphones question.

Any reason why all the questions have preselected answers?

Are you asking why you can't type your own answers or are you asking why the first radio button on every question is ticked?

i will add encouraged. you lucky bastard. my current place hates them which is one of the things that started this whole thing off

:D

I meant why is the first answer ticked. I have taken part in many surveys across the interwebs, and there is hardly ever a default answer.

never really thought about it to be honest. i will look at maybe leaving them blank? prolly gonna cause a headache though seeing as i have to now check people haven't left things out.

but it does seem the correct way to present it. by preselecting things i may be encouraging people to skip past...
