My boy started walking this week.

He will turn 1 on the 26th. He has been standing for ages and last week he started to walk if he was holding onto your finger.

Then last thursday he took two steps by himself. My wife said"He's WALKING" :rolleyes: I said that doesn't count..

Sunday he walked across the room. I said ok, he has walked, but he still crawls most of the place so I still wouldn't call it walking.

Today he is motoring all over the place, non stop. Almost running into everything. My daughter also started walking around a week before her first birthday, but she took it slow. Learned to turn properly, learned to stop.
He's like "To hell with that, lets go NOW, we'll figure out turning and stopping later" :D GO BOY!
 
Awesome...my boy just began walking about three weeks ago or so. They go from zero to full steam in like three days, it's scary. now he's everywhere. This morning he was eating something from the trash, my wife nearly vomited :o

Hopefully your house is child proofed, he is now mobile and can get everywhere!

lol, yea, my sister's youngest (boy) also started to learn to walk and when he did, instead of walking, he ran, fell flat on his face and then stood up, ran again... tried to teach him to slow down... but I think that's how boys are :)
 
Yeah my daughter was very cautious at 1st. Seems girls have a greater sense of self preservation...
 
One year old? Damn, you guys are slow. My little girl was walking at 9 months ;)

Ha ha, everyone else brags about download speeds etc so why can't we brag about our kids! hee hee

Sandmanm34, you are lucky. My little girl of 15 months is in the lounge in front of me climbing up onto her three wheel bike and repeatedly standing up on the saddle and letting go with her hands just for fun! She is a total dare devil! I probably shouldn't have pushed her over bumps etc quite so wildly when she was younger... but she loved it!

You telling me!! I keep having to do a count back to make sure I am saying the right thing when people ask how old she is now. It really does seem like only yesterday!

Nice vid, great band.
 
congrats. mine is 13months and started walking by himself yesterday. he is still building his confidence for now. need to get those gates for the stairs and the locks for the cupboards are overdue.
