My extra-view picture is distorted after resetting pvr

My extra-view picture is distorted on another room TV after fixing main PVR (by resetting to default). Now secondary channel for PVR to the other room is missing plus extra-view picture is also distorted. TV has been rescanned without success

Unplug both, plug in main decoder wait until scan finishes, wait 5min then plug in secondary decoder.

Set the aspect ratio.

Maybe you had the UHF set to a different channel now it's default again.

In that case I think you need to check your secondary decoder.. the fact that it presents sound means the Xtraview heartbeat is functional. Either the decoder is faulty (which would not surprise me considering the flaky just-about-usable firmware), or your HDMI connection/cable has issues

Indeed, I assumed the OP was using a more modern setup. My bad.
More than likely a software update caused the UHF channel to default so both of them sit now on the same channel, causing a beat frequency on the second decoder.

I will unplug all and reboot main pvr, after checking connections ... then reboot extra view decoder .... then see if this problem persists. Thank you for your responses

FEEDBACK: Indeed UHF was the culprit. Reset UHF of extra view back to 21 from 63 and viola!!!! working.... Thanks guys
