LOL - Damn kids fighting again. well i must agree there are places of sloppiness solely due to the fact that I did not have the proper equipment and time. Bare in mind that this model is only a template to a better more clean one later. I needed to see if it would work, if there was heat issues, magnet issues etc etc before i went out and spent more time and money on it.

Why build a case when u can just go out and buy one? COS I FELT LIKE IT. its original, different and believe me turns heads already.

So once again those who dont like it - id appreciate a little advice, reason etc etc on how you would have made it better.

Those who do like it - thanks

Okay BDT. let me lie to you because clearly you are not man enough to handle criticism.

erm did i say i cant take criticism? If you dont like it then thats you, some do some dont - life goes on. What I do appreciate is a little criticism added with some tips to improve - thats all.

In no way do I expect to get a medal for this. Just thought id show you guys that there are some of us going abit further than just installing OSX on a PC.

Modding is cool, stress relieving and fun. enjoy kids and play nice now ;)

sigh... no... but he can't and he didn't even build the thing.

What you offered was not criticism knob end. It was insulting. Grow up.

@Shardie: By way of criticism: I'd have gone for rounded edges as opposed to sharp; 90 degree edges... just a little more 'Apple looking'; I'd also probably gone for a longer as opposed to taller (not sure if I'm making sense here) form factor - basically what you have on the sides might look nicer on the top, heck you could even just lie the damn thing down now that I think of it.

@pop.dork: See that? That is constructive criticism. Learn, move on.
BTW: Your pathetic attempt at backpedaling in post#51 buys you no favour with me.

Dude, can you not see that you are being a dick?

No, unlike you resorting to calling people names I gave an honest opinion of what the OP made. I did not attack his person, if I think it's a bad attempt and peoples egos get bruised then my suggestion is to HTFU. If you cannot handle it then don't post your pet projects here as not everyone is going to blow sunshine up your ass.

I suppose this is what you get in a age where everyone passes, everyone gets a trophy, we are all winners & no losers. It breeds mediocrity and people with sensitive feelings.

Ok there tough guy - no one called you names, what I said was that you were being a dick... had I said: "You are a dick" I'd have been calling you names... to quote one of the finest films of modern times: ENGLISH MOTHER&^@%$ DO YOU SPEAK IT??!?!

Secondly: what's with your lamentations of mediocrity and complaining about the age we live in? When it comes to sensitive feelings: methinks you doth protest too much there tough guy.

...and in closing: being sardonic and essentially shredding someones creation that they have posted here in the spirit of sharing is hardly as good for the human race as you'd like to make it out to be.

I'm sticking to my guns here - you were being a dick, don't try to make it everyone elses fault because they are pansy asses who need your tough love for redemption from mediocrity blah blah blah... just don't be a dick.

Geez dude! No hassle, thanks for sharing your mod :)

Looking back on the pics in the 1st post, I really think that it will look a lot better on its side... but either way I think it's a fine effort - can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Anything in the pipeline?

 did I say I could do better?

Thanks.

No, but we realized from your post that you cannot appreciate a DIY fun PROJECT and as-UMED THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING BETTER. tHANKS FOR CONFIRMING OUR THOUGHTS (dAMN cAPS!)

Useless handyman used to just bbuy stuff will always look down on someone elses DIY handywork. It's a fact.

Now to get some pop.corn for the rest of the show!

Shardie, nice JOB. We couls at least and comprehend what you posted

- It was the first effort, the next one will be better.
- It cost a massive R150.00, a great feat on its own.
-Your friend will an the next one LAser trim and etch for you.

Thus great work

Just ignore the negative juvenile unhandyman pricks.

I love it too! It's amazing how the nastiest case mode this side of the Sahara split the camp in two. Insults flying and what not, it's like watching a comedy.

ermm. a lot of work went into that. i wont doubt it. But instead of calling it a hackintosh you should call it something to do with its unique shape and nice design. Give it credit for that.

If i want a BMW ill buy one. if I cant, i'll drive a Toyota. Not a Toyota with a 3-series grill and a BM badge and 320rsi written on the back...

but hey, thats me :)
