Alright. I've just ordered my new PC from Take 2. Here are the specs. (and please tell me what you think).
Bare in mind: I know the graphics card is ****e, but It's all I could budget for now. I've getting a R3k card in a month or two's time and this will be fine for now.
It was also tough when it came to deciding wether to go for a fast dual-core or slow quad-core. Instead I went for the fastest dual-core, primarily due to the FSB and other various reasons. Quad-core has it's advantages, but the none of them are needed right now.
Asus Intel P5N32-E SLi Plus Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 CPU - Dual Core - Socket 775
OCZ Platinum Gaming Memory - DDR2-800MHz - 1GB x2
Gigabyte nVidia GeForce 8400GS - 256MB - PCI-E
OCZ StealthXStream Power Supply - 600w
Seagate Barracuda HDD - SATA-300 - 8MB Cache - NCQ - 250GB
Gigabyte 3D Mars Full Tower Chassis
My DVD writer, screen, keyboard and mouse were all salvaged from my previous PC.
