Luis, you need to chill.

You say you are in business?

Maybe they made an error or have some form of explanation.

Just calm down before you pop an artery :)

I am as calm as it can be, after phone calls and emails there is no response?

lol I wonder what you would have done in my case.

Sit and wait for daddy to sort it out for you?

Nah, I could understand your threats and outbursts if the sum involved was several hundred thousand rand. But over a couple hundred bucks? I would chill a little.

My daddy died 32 years ago but thanks!

Luis, what was your proof of payment, fax or e-mail? When I send the proof of payment for Feb I let the bank fax it to them. The next day I got an e-mail saying I had to pay. I mailed them the proof of payment and it was sorted.

What did you use as reference?

O/T

I changed my password because I did not like the default one. It was done via e-mail within a few hours.

I emailed it to them like previously on the 26th and when I spoke to Edwin he suggested that I email it again.

I did it like I mentioned before.

The reference number was the same as always, name and surname with username and password attached.

What puzzles me is that up until now there was no attempt to contact me from OpenWeb, either by phone or email.

If you want more support go pay mweb R145 a gig and you can have 24/7 support - if you cannot read the emails openweb sends out regarding payment and payment times/methods then that is your issue not theirs.

Seems to me like there are far too many trolls trying to give openweb a bad name - ive never had an issue and Keoma (mr beep) is always quick to respond to my queries via email - far quicker than WA ever were.

Hi Luis

I am sorry to read about your experience with OpenWeb.

Kindly email me on [email protected] and I will investigate this for you.

Kind regards
MrBEEP

lmao .. I am now 100% convinced that there is a very low level of intelligence here, people just can't read or understand English.

Another one that doesn't understand that payment wa made on the 26th March 2008 AND PRROF OF PAYMENT EMAILED TO TECHNICAL SUPPORT.

HERE ARE FACTS REGARDING THIS ISSUE.

PAYMENT MADE OIN THE 26TH MARCH, PROOF OF PAYMENT SENT ON THE SAME DAY AND AGAIN ON THE 1ST APRIL 2006. A PHONE CALL WAS MADE TO OPENWEB SUPPORT ON THE 1ST OF APRIL AS WELL.

Sorry MrBEEP but I will not waste my time emailing you again.

You have my details, my emails with proof of payment (2), my message to please call me back that I left with your so called technical support guy that suggested getting a refund ... lol .... (Edwin).

You sort this out, I feel I have done enough on my side.

Hey Luis

Not sure what happened with your account but I have never had issues with Openweb.
I have had accounts created for me after hours even late in the evening.

Not only great service but have you compared their prices??

As with anything IT related their will always be hiccups somewhere.

Well feel free to come to UK and wait 1 week plus on any queries. When you do decide to phone you have to pay a premium support number and go through to a some one in India who reads you a script.

My advice, you don't like the service use you right to walk away. All you have done is made a huge stink over spilt milk like a brat. You have achieved nothing except joined a few peoples ignore lists (I am sure) and most here will prob not help you in the future.

Well the above is said imo. Enjoy your day at work, I hope the morning coffee calms you down a bit.

dude lets say you said openweb sucks and webafrica rocks

im guessing that might be obvious dont you think? im betting if i didnt say anything you would have posted how you went with another (whatever one you work for) and said how amazing they are

plz go to another forum and leave us no brainers alone

I find it rather strange that his first 12 posts are a rant on openweb - dodgy - methinks so - luis go to mweb they have huge support and you can pay out your ass for a script - you would like them.

woah dude... way to overreact.
I've had nothing but awesome service from Openweb! Keoma rocks my world, she has (multiple times! ) answered queries or sorted out problems for me within minutes of me sending an e-mail, even 10pm on a Saturday night. I've never experienced that kind of service from any other company in SA.
