Hi there,
so I was having this problem when ever I played a game(and only in games) on my PC it would 'stutter' every 5-10M and it would last 30-90s. So I reseated my CPU and GPU and cleaned out all my PC/PU fans. Low and behold it was fixed and I could play hours on end without hassle :)

Now recently I have been experiencing the same problems but just in normal windows, browsing the net or whatever. I do not play games on my PC anymore so I cant comment if it happens on that as well(prob does) but it is really bad.

I will be doing something ordinary and all of a sudden everything lags and I cant really do much. Closing all my programs helps didly squat. I open Task Manager and I cannot see any programs running that I havent initiated and if I order everything in CPU Usage I can see that max 50% is being used but yet on my CPU monitor shows 100%

My RAM stays at its normal 23%. There is nothing I can do to stop it once it has started. Only a reboot or just wait it out(max 2 minutes).

So I am leaning towards a heating/usage issue. I also just noticed none of my case fans were on so I went into BIOS and found out when I updated it, it activated Smart-Fan or some *** that only powers fans on when CPU is at 90C

So now those are on and sucking all my hot air out and I havent experienced it again(normally only happens every 1-3 hours). But I need to know because I am going away soon and leaving my PC on the whole time.

Anyone experience this? Rig specs:
+AMD 6000+ BE
+5GB DDR2 RAM
+600W PSU
+3850

I know it aint a super duper CPU but it is a dual core
