Exactly!!
I can do fine at home or when around friends, but when dealing with some of the idiots at work... it is not good for my health without smoking![]()
Agreed. When the wife and I start at each others throats, first thing I want is a a cig.
we have to ask ourselves:
How does smoking help us deal with situations.Does it not make it worse by raising our blood pressure, create a stink on our breath and clothing, smoke up the room and make us feel helpless.
Exactly. Why must a tobacco filled stick give us opportunities?I think it gives us the opportunity to step away from stressful situations and look at it objectively.

It gives you your fix, many smokers don't think they are addicted after a couple weeks but they are. Quitting only makes that worse. For me the anger is amplified 10x for like 6 months until my family beg me to smoke again. The sad thing is they reckon it can take up to 3-5 years to come right and some don't come right.
It is soul destroying after 6 months of no smoking that you want to kill every driver on the road. Eventually i always give in because i just cannot take it anymore.
Anger is the classic alibi.Your family nags you to stop out of concern for you health, smell etc.You quit but then somehow conveniantly become irratable, angry and diffficult to live with. They beg you to start again to 'rid yourself of the demons'.It gives you your fix, many smokers don't think they are addicted after a couple weeks but they are. You are now free to smoke without any interference.anger has won your case for you but ultimately, just like OJ, you are guilty.
If it wasn't so bad for you and didn't make your clothes smell, your mouth taste like sh*t, your throat burn and your lungs feel k*k and block your nose, I would be a smoker. That rush it gives, I like!
I think you forgot to add the part about it killing you.
Im on day 3 and not feeling too bad. The electronic ciggie is helping alot.

dude I know exactly what you mean. Normally 2 weeks is simple, then your brain starts to trick you.I always find the first couple weeks the easiest because your will and desire is stronger than 5 months down the line.
I have no issues quitting, it is staying quit that gets me hehe.

I honestly think it will always be a problem for me but I have to do something about it this time.
For some reason though im really battling with being massively grumpy on this one, hopefully that will end soon though.
